948563b8b5 Effects: Delegate to core show/hide when the element is already in the correct final state. This forces the element to go through the olddisplay tracking and forces styles on elements even if they're hidden via an ancestor. 1e8baf5683 Dialog: Remove the instance-storing for the overlay, just create one whenever it is needed. Heavily simplifies the code, while the memorly leak should be hardly an issue anymore, since fixed positioning restricts the overlay size to the window dimensions.
